In the greater San Diego area, there are over 150 independent craft breweries that bring to life a rich craft beer history through unique tasting rooms. San Diego itself is home to one of the most active homebrewing populations in the nation, with 13 homebrew clubs, three homebrew supply shops, and other grassroots organizations that promote the hobby of homebrewing and all-things fermentation. In addition, there will be six annual recognition awards announced at the ceremony.
